Undergrove launches today at noon eastern!

The last few weeks have been a long wait and now suddenly we are here! The Undergrove Kickstarter will launch at noon eastern today, at this link.

Once it’s live, the Kickstarter page should have lots of info that will help you figure out whether this game is for you: pictures, links to playthrough videos, the rulebook…and blurbs like Rahdo’s claim (from this video) that

“It is sharp, it is crunchy, it is heavy, it is brilliant...when people that get their hands on it, there's gonna be a lot of people who say, Wingwhat? Whatspan?"

Also happening today:

• At 10 eastern, the Dice Tower is doing a live playthrough.

• Just before noon, I’m joining the AEG team for a launch party on Facebook live. We’re all swinging wildly between anxiety and excitement over here, so it would be lovely to have some of you stop by and say hi in the chat!

One last resource I’ll point you to is that Mark and I have posted several designer diaries on Board Game Geek:

• Diary 1: Birds of a Feather (how this game came to exist basically because Mark and I like working together and share a love of nature)

• Diary 2: The Heart of the Forest (working out the basic structure of the game)

• I’ll get Diary 4 posted today in the same forum on Board Game Geek — it will be about picking the mushrooms!
